Merry Christmas! In keeping with the situation

Good Morning!

Bringing you a quick post on your busy day.

"In keeping with the situation" is a favorite quote of mine from Charles Dickens' well-known Christmas story - A Christmas Carol. The idiom means - in case you were wondering, as I was - "having a situation under control."

Is the current state of the world under control during this season of joy? Hardly.

But I do know who does have control over it. And He is Christ the LORD, the Son of God, who came to earth over 2,000 years ago, born in a manger, and later crucified and rose again to provide salvation to all those who call on His name.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

In this season of joy and festivity, where gift-giving, and getting together with family and friends is the norm (if that is possible where you are), but you are struggling with life's situations and don't know where to turn, you can have peace and tranquility if you know Christ as your Savior and LORD.

No matter what your circumstance is, I hope you can have a blessed day. The LORD Jesus Christ knows the situation of every individual in the world. He is waiting for you to come to Him. If you would like to know more about my faith in Christ and how you can have peace and eternal life, do not hesitate to email me (linda@ladyelsielee.com) or send a message via the Chatbox.

Merry Christmas to all! God bless!
